The Best Pizza in Town

English Grammar Story: Comparatives and Superlatives, The Best Pizza in Town

Liam loves pizza. Every Friday, he goes to a different restaurant to find the best pizza in town.

One day, his friend Mia says, "You should try Tony’s Pizza. It is bigger than Marco’s, and the cheese is hotter."

Liam shakes his head. "No, no. Bella’s Pizza is cheaper and tastier! Also, the service there is more polite than at other places."

"But Tony’s is the best," Mia insists. "It is more popular than Bella’s, and the ingredients are fresher."

Liam is curious. He goes to Tony’s Pizza and orders a large one. The waiter smiles and says, "You made the smartest choice! Our pizza is more special than any other pizza in town."

When the pizza arrives, it is huge! It is bigger than his table! The cheese is stretchier, and the crust is crunchier than any pizza he ate before. The smell is better than he expects.

Liam takes a bite. It is the most delicious pizza ever! The flavors are richer than any pizza he tried.

Then, the waiter comes back and says, "And here is your bill… for the most expensive pizza in town!"

Liam’s eyes widen. The price is more shocking than he imagined. But what can he do? The biggest pizza comes with the biggest bill!
